Remedies for Dry Skin

Dry skin is a common problem during winter time. Dry skin can lead to early aging and wrinkles. That's why you need to take good care of dry skin by applying moisturizers regularly.


Aloe Vera gel
Take some Aloe Vera gel and apply it over your face for about 30 minutes. This will have amazing affects on your skin. Your skin will look soft and vibrant even during winter season.

Olive Oil
Olive oil can soothe and condition dry skin all over your body. Take equal amounts of olive oil and brown sugar. Make a mixture and rub this homemade scrub on your dry skin in circular motions for a few minutes. Take a shower and then apply a light moisturizer.

Egg yolk paste
Make a face pack with egg yolk, 1 teaspoon of honey and a teaspoon of milk powder. Mix the ingredients well and apply it over your face evenly. Leave it on for 20 minutes and wash with simple tap water.

Honey
Honey is considered one of the best natural moisturizers, it makes skin soft and smooth. Plus, honey has many essential vitamins and minerals that help improve your skin�s health. Before taking shower, rub honey all over your body and leave it on for five to 10 minutes. Repeat daily to enjoy well-moisturized skin.

Almond paste
Soak some almonds overnight. Peel the skin of the almonds and grind it to make a fine paste.  Add raw milk to this paste, two teaspoon of lemon juice as well as gram flour. Now, you need to apply this wonderful pack on your face and neck. Leave it for a period of 20 minutes and wash it away with luke warm water. Along with providing wonderful remedy for dry skin, this is also really effective in improving the skin tone.

Oatmeal face pack
Oatmeal is good for removing dirt from your skin. You can use this pack on your face in winter to clean your skin pores. Mix a pinch of turmeric in � cup of oatmeal and a few drops of lemon juice. Blend into a thick paste and apply it on your face. Leave it on for 15 minutes and then rinse off with lukewarm water.

Yogurt
Yogurt is an excellent skin-hydrating agent. Apply fresh yogurt on your hands, face and legs. Gently massage it into your skin. Leave it on for 10 minutes and then take a bath or shower. The mild exfoliating action of yogurt will remove dry skin and leave your skin refreshed. Do this once daily.

Home Remedies for Chapped Lips

Chapped lips in winter is one of the most common beauty issue.


Natural ways to cure Chapped Lips:

Natural Oils: Natural oils such as coconut oil, olive oil or mustard oil are good for moisturizing. Rub any of these oils on dry lips and rinse off.

Sugar and Honey: Take two teaspoon sugar and one teaspoon honey. Mix them well and put onto chapped, dry, flaky lips. Rub off with warm water after about 10-20 mins. You'll see the results instantly.

Cucumber: Take a cucumber slice and rub on the dry areas of lips. It'll soothe them down.

Aloe Vera: Aloe Vera has a number of benefits on skin. Take a aloe vera leaf and lather the lips with the juice. 

Milk Cream: Fresh milk cream is an excellent skin softener and it has the ability to elimination the dead skin. Leave cream milk drops on the lips for ten minutes. Afterwards, rub the remaining traces of milk cream from the lips with cotton dipped in lukewarm water. That will hasten healing.

Maintaining a healthy skin during winter time is very important. Today i am going to share some easy to follow natural methods to make skin glow in winter.

Almond Oil Method


Almond oil is one of the best home remedies for glowing skin in winters. It helps in moisturizing your face. Massage the face and hands with almond oil. Keep it on over night and you'll have the softest skin in the morning.

Honey and Egg White Method

Honey and egg white pack will also help moisturize the skin. Take an egg white and add some honey to it. Make a paste and put it on the face. Wash it off after some time. This is also very effective for wrinkles.

Curd Method

Curd is a natural moisturizer. Massaging the face with curd will help removing the dryness in skin. Do this once in fifteen days to get radiant skin and healthy looking skin.


Cucumber Method

Cucumber works wonders for the skin. Take some cucumber juice and put it on the face. Leave it on for some time and then rinse it off. It is a very effective remedy for glowing skin. 

Banana Method

Banana face pack is ideal for getting rid of dry skin in winter. Mash a ripe banana, add milk, honey and lime juice to it. Apply it on the face and leave it on for some time. Wash the face with cold water to get the soft skin.

Cabbage Diet for Weight Loss

Speaking of challenges so losing weight is sure a big challenge :)

Today i am going to share the most effective and the healthiest way to get rid of few pounds quickly.

CABBAGE SOUP DIET


Cabbage soup diet is one of the most well known and effective way to lose weight in a short span.
But remember this diet should only be followed for 7 days with a diet plan.

Here is how it works:

Day 1: First day of this diet starts with the variety of fruits. On the first day you must only eat fruits along with the cabbage soup. You can eat whatever fruit you like except bananas. Have cabbage soup for every meal.

Day 2: Second day of this diet is a Vegetable day. You can chew on raw or steamed fresh vegetables along with the soup the whole day. 

Day 3: Mix Days one and two, eat all the fruits and vegetables you want along with the soup the whole day. Avoid Baked Potato.

Day 4: Forth day is a banana day. Bananas with Skim Milk. Eat as many as eight bananas and drink as many glasses of skim milk as you would like on this day along with your soup. This day is supposed to lessen your sweet cravings.

Day 5: Fifth day of this diet is a meat day. On this day, have chicken or beef in any form. Boiled, baked or steamed. Take your soup at least once this day. 

Day 6: Sixth day is a mix of vegetables and meat day. You can have 2 or 3 steaks if you like with leafy green vegetables. No Baked Potato. Eat your soup at least once a day.

Day 7: Seventh day is the Brown rice day. Be sure to eat your soup along with the rice intake.

Here is the recipe to make Cabbage Soup.

Take an equal amount of chopped carrots, cabbage, tomatoes and capsicum.
Add one chopped onion and tomatoes in a pan and stir fry them in one tablespoon of olive oil. Then add rest of the vegetables and add 3 cup of water. Let them boil until the mixture becomes a little thick. Add one pinch of corn flour to make it consistent.
Your soup is ready to serve with some vinegar and soy souce.
